Our patterns are made to be used and enjoyed — not copied, reposted, or resold.
Effective date: October 17, 2026. The following terms apply when you browse or buy original pattern content from The Pattern Attic.
Optional member accounts
You may read the online pattern without an account. When we activate optional accounts, your account is for securely saving personal progress. It does not transfer ownership of artwork or grant permission to redistribute any PDF. Please use an email account you control and do not share sign-in links.
Original pattern content
Unless otherwise noted, The Pattern Attic’s original written patterns, original illustrations, photographs, charts, branding, page design and instructional content are presented under The Pattern Attic name and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Third-party service marks belong to their owners.
Studio subscriptions and printable downloads
The Tapestry Studio editor is currently a free preview. Planned paid features include individual printable pattern exports and a $12.99/month Studio Plus subscription with ad removal and unlimited printable exports. Payment and subscriptions are not available until checkout is activated. Pricing and terms will be shown before purchase.
Personal-use license — PDF not for resale
One purchase grants the purchaser a personal, non-transferable license to download and print the pattern for their own use. The purchased PDF, its written instructions, pixel graph, and photos may not be resold, redistributed, shared, posted publicly, uploaded to pattern-sharing websites, or repackaged as another pattern. Please send others to our store for their own copy.
You may sell finished handmade objects you create from the pattern, but the pattern file itself and reproduced charts or instructions are not permitted for resale. Commercial publishing, teaching-resource reproduction or distribution of the pattern requires written permission.
Digital fulfillment, support and refunds
Our checkout partner provides secure payment handling and delivery of a download link to eligible customers after purchase. Keep the purchase receipt for future access. If a file is corrupted, undelivered, or not as described, contact us and we will work to resolve it. Refunds are handled consistently with applicable consumer law and any policies disclosed at checkout.
Crafting notes
Crochet sizes vary by yarn, tension, and hook. All chart adaptations for knitting, cross-stitch, or other crafts require craft-specific adjustments. We do our best to present counts accurately, but your results may differ with materials and technique.
Website use
Please do not attempt to scrape, republish, impersonate, or redistribute our pages or bypass our payment and download delivery service. External links are provided for convenience and their operators control their own terms.
